so what is it about?

It's not your average birth podcast. The Birth Talks marks a new space for everybody, from birth aficionados to newbies to engage with what happens before, during and after birth - with an intersectional feminist twist. Get the lowdown on how gender, race, sex, sexuality, class, and life experiences affect pregnancy, birth and parenting. The 30 minute episodes are hosted and produced by Ottawa based birth advocate and doula Mai Ngo and features non-traditional and cutting edge perspectives from Canadian reproductive justice activists, professionals and community members. Listen today!

Join Branch Out Theatre and The Birth Talks Podcast for a community performance as 10 women across all walks of life share stories on their experiences with pregnancy, birth and/or parenting. When: June 10, 2018 4pm Where: The Gladstone Theatre. Cost: $10 in advance with online reservation ($15 at door).

 

Tickets are on sale! The Birth Talks Presents! is an innovative community project where 10 women-identified-folk participate in a six week facilitated storytelling program with Branch Out Theatre.
